About the Founders of Carolina Adventure Cycles

In the fall of 2012, Dean Jeffryes and Jeff Butler, both die hard motorcycle enthusiasts, brought together their passion for the sport with their diverse backgrounds and formed Carolina Adventure Cycles, a full-service destination for you and your motorcycle.

Jeff Butler (right, in photo) has logged over 40,000 miles on his Honda XR650L on a mix of road and off-road riding. He has a passion for vintage Hondas, collecting and restoring his fleet of nine, ranging from years 1968 to 1974. Jeff is a skilled MX, trail and dual sport rider who loves motorcycles so much, he decided to make a career of them.

After graduating from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in 2004, Jeff worked for two Charlotte-area dealerships as

an A-level technician and, in June 2009, opened Carolina Cycle Solutions, a successful full-service repair facility in Monroe. Now, nearly four years later, it is time for expansion, and Jeff has partnered with Dean Jeffryes, former Operations Manager for Carolina Cycle Solutions, to bring you Carolina Adventure Cycles.

Dean Jeffryes (left, in photo) has been touring on motorcycles in the Appalachian and Smoky Mountains for well over 20 years. Since 2006, he has toured over 130,000 miles across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Dean began riding dirt bikes as a kid back in the 1970s, with his ride of choice being a Honda Z50. The same thrill and smile it gave him as a child returns every time he hits the track, trail or road. He loves and rides them all, from MX, to dual sports, to cruisers. Five years after retiring from the corporate life in 2006, Dean joined Jeff at Carolina Cycle Solutions as the company's Operations Manager.

Together, they look forward to making making your motorcycle dreams come true! Get the experience others can't deliver, at Carolina Adventure Cycles.
